COME GROW WITH US!
COME GROW WITH US!
The mission of the Bese Saka Community Garden is to grow fresh, organic produce for community members and to unify the community through gardening. Established in April 2020, the garden is named Bese Saka, meaning "abundance". Our goal is to provide an abundance of fruits and vegetables to all, including low-income families and individuals who may not be able to afford organic produce.
The garden is located on the grounds of the Shiloh Mission and Ministry Center in Snellville/Centerville, Georgia which is the current location of AMPLIFY Christian Church lead by Pastor, Orlando Scott. The church has focused its work on themes around food insecurity, sustainability, eco-justice and the climate.
Monetary donations of any amount to help us create positive change in our community are greatly appreciated. We are also looking for garden tools such as shovels, rakes, machetes, hoes, tractors, tillers, chain saws, wheel barrels and weed eaters.
We need volunteers to assist with gardening. Campus projects include, lawn care, garden maintenance, gazebo and storage space restoration and building raised bed boxes services to meet the needs of our diverse community. We would love to have you join us
