Mental Wellness Discussion for Black Men - Sept 2024
Back by popular demand! The brothers want more so we are bringing more!

Join us for a FREE, private, safe event where black men will discuss a variety of topics including childhood trauma, work and family stress. The conversation will be guided by Dr. Percy D. Johnson, Jr., Marriage & Family Therapist at New Horizons Counseling Center.
The goal is to affirm each man's core self, promote emotional well-being, resilience, and a positive sense of manhood. Men will leave with tools to navigate their daily lives with confidence and authenticity.
Register here and indicate if you will be attending virtually or in person. We would love to see you at the church, but if you can't come or don't live in the area, we still want you part of this conversation. If you register virtually a private link to join will be sent to you before the event.

Thank you to all the men who participated in the Mental Wellness Discussion. We had a record number of black men participate in-person and virtually! Great information was shared by Dr. Percy D. Johnson, Jr. and we had fruitful conversation. Because the conversation was so rich, we are going to have a Part 2 soon. More information to follow.

Community Garden Volunteers Are Needed
We need volunteers to assist with gardening. Campus projects include, lawn care, garden maintenance, gazebo and storage space restoration and building raised bed boxes services to meet the needs of our diverse community. We would love to have you join us
